Google open-sources TorchTPU to run PyTorch apps on TPUs
TechCrunch reports Google has open-sourced TorchTPU, its PyTorch version for TPUs. Google says developers can move existing PyTorch apps to TPUs and Google Cloud through a simple configuration change, without re-writing apps.
Why it matters. This lets agent builders using PyTorch move apps to Google TPUs and Google Cloud without re-writing, offering an alternative to Nvidia GPUs.
