Microsoft merges chat, coding and agents into one Copilot app
Microsoft's redesigned Copilot app now has three tabs, Home, Code and Autopilot, and rebrands its Scout assistant as Autopilot, the Verge reports. Code lets anyone build sandboxed internal apps, while Autopilot gets its own cloud identity, memory and workspace for enterprise use.

Anthropic says an internal Claude model found bottlenecks and shipped over three thousand changes in a two-week sprint, cutting load time for a fresh claude.ai session from 3.1 seconds to 0.55. Engineers set goals and approved every change, with no customer-facing rollback.
