Anthropic draft bill sets thresholds to halt some model releases
TechCrunch reports that Politico said Anthropic is shopping a draft AI bill that could block a model’s release if over 50 people risk death or over a billion dollars in property damage. Anthropic’s spokesperson confirmed the draft bill to Politico and said it reflects proposals Anthropic has advocated since June.
