OpenGCUA first release provides an open computer-use agent stack
Huggingface reports that the MAI-UI team at Alibaba introduced OpenGCUA, an open stack for generalist computer-use agents. It says the full configuration improved OSWorld-v2 scores across eight models, raising mean partial score 19.6 points and cutting reported steps per task 53.0% versus batched GUI-only execution.
Why it matters. It gives builders an open harness, prompts, trajectories, and an SDK for computer-use agents across computers, mobiles and browsers.
