Qualcomm's Snapdragon Sound Elite Gen 2 chip for audio wearables offers up to 2x the on-device AI performance and up to 40% lower power use, 9to5Google reports. It also supports image recognition for earbuds with cameras and Wi-Fi 6E.

Rabbit launches OS3, an agent that works without its R1 gadget
Rabbit announced OS3, an "agentic operating system" reachable through a browser, Telegram or iMessage, so people no longer need the company's R1 device to use it, Wired reports. Founder Jesse Lyu says the R1 itself shipped over 100,000 units with under 5% returns.
Why it matters. Rabbit now reaches people through a browser and chat apps, a sign that an agent product does not need its own device.

Meta unveils $1,300 VR glasses to challenge Apple's Vision Pro
Meta's new VR Glasses weigh 100 grams, pair with an external compute puck, and pack a 5K 120Hz display, launching spring 2027 at $1,300, Engadget reports. That is far below the Vision Pro's $3,500 to $3,700 price, though its field of view is narrower.
