Google tests Gemini calling businesses for you on Pixel phones
Google is testing Call for Me, which lets Gemini call a business, get through its phone menu and handle tasks like booking a table, TechCrunch reports. It starts with Pixel 11 owners on a Gemini subscription in the US, and shows a live transcript of the call.
Why it matters. A phone call is now a task surface for agents, so voice UX and consent design matter as much as chat interfaces.

Meta's Muse hit 500,000 users a week after launch
The Decoder reports Meta's new personal AI agent, Muse, passed 500,000 users and 2 million submitted prompts within seven days of launch, citing data from The Information. Meta product lead Nat Friedman also said Muse was "heavily inspired" by open-source project OpenClaw, though "built from scratch."
Why it matters. Meta's reach put a personal agent in front of half a million people within a week, which shows how much distribution counts.

Rabbit launches OS3, an agent that works without its R1 gadget
Rabbit announced OS3, an "agentic operating system" reachable through a browser, Telegram or iMessage, so people no longer need the company's R1 device to use it, Wired reports. Founder Jesse Lyu says the R1 itself shipped over 100,000 units with under 5% returns.
Why it matters. Rabbit now reaches people through a browser and chat apps, a sign that an agent product does not need its own device.
