Railway pauses deployments after suspected access to environment variables
Railway Blog reports Railway found unusual activity in systems holding customer environment variables, and says an outside party may have seen encrypted values and in some cases the decrypted contents. Railway says deployments are paused during the investigation, and advises all users to rotate variables and check logs.
Why it matters. Teams running agents on Railway should rotate keys, audit service logs, and plan for no new versions until builds resume.
