OpenAI rolls out text watermarking in ChatGPT and Codex in the EU
The Verge reports OpenAI is rolling out machine readable text watermarking in ChatGPT and Codex for eligible users in the EU over the coming weeks. OpenAI said API customers worldwide can opt in for select models, and the watermark is not a global default at launch.
