Google brings Data Agent Kit to GA with skills and IAM controls
InfoQ reports Google has made Data Agent Kit generally available as a free, open source bridge between coding agents and Google Data Cloud services. InfoQ says it pairs advisory skills with IAM enforcement, including a read-only attribute that can block write-capable MCP tools.
