AI agents posted company screenshots to public GitHub repos
THE DECODER reports Glow Security found over 13,000 screenshots from internal projects at 343 organizations in public GitHub repos. It says the images exposed customer data, login credentials, and unreleased features, and about a third of affected organizations used gitshot.
Why it matters. Teams using AI agents with GitHub may need to check whether screenshot workflows or gitshot are exposing private project images.
